We celebrated world book day by holding a book swap and on Friday we had a pop up book shop hosted by Orb Book Shop in Huntly. Pupils were able to spend their World Book Day tokens
Jackie from the SSPCA came to school and delivered workshops about farming and animals. Pupils showed how much they know and care about the animals around us.
We held a special assembly for Safer Internet Day. Then we worked together as a whole school to think about how to use pictures and posts that make the internet a better place.
The whole school worked very hard to learn poems for the Scot’s poetry competition and assembly. So many pupils joined in this year we couldn’t fit them into one picture!
We had a great time with our Christmas Activities this year – we were learning at the same time!
We raised money for Save the Children with a Christmas Jumper day. We also used our teamwork skills when we did Christmas crafts together.
We enjoyed our Christmas treat which was a Bubble Show. There was lots of bubbles and foam everywhere, and some bubbles were big enough for children to go inside them!
Our Christmas Show was a great success. Everybody used their performing skills and did great acting, singing and playing.
We all marked Remembrance together in the school field by hanging tartan hearts with things that we were thankful for written on them. P3/4 led the act of remembrance by reading a poem.
We joined together to enjoy Children in Need day and we raised lots of money too.
